The footstool is traditionally upholstered using horsehair and a rolled edge. The padding is reconditioned and improved using traditional techniques and the frame is restored. A nourishing layer of oil for the legs, holes where tacks are removed filled with wood glue and sawdust. It is finally covered in the client’s own fabric.
