Blackout required for dual purpose cinema room

The client wanted floor-to-ceiling curtains with great blackout capabilities in this light living room. One wall is a large bifold door onto a patio while the other is a similarly sized large picture window.

Solution

Ceiling mounted tracks were installed in the recess of the window openings. The client selected a thick velvet Studio G fabric so interlining was not required. A thermal blackout lining ensured that there would be no reflection or glare on the television. There was fabric left over to add finishing touches such as cushions and throws.
