To add some tactile luxurious finishes to a boudoir dressing room with two windows. Use pelmets to disguise the unequal windows and add some soft furnishings to make it a calm sanctuary.

Solution

Roman blinds with pelmets

Why not add little extra sophistication to your blinds with an upholstered pelmet. You could even choose a contrast fabric or a trim! We used a soft velvet fabric and upholstered the pelmet with a lightly padded finish. An antique brass chain on the roman blind headrail brought out the rich tones.

Oversized cushions and extras

There was enough fabric left over to upholster the dressing table stool to match the roman blinds. An oversized dusky pink bed cushion finished the look and made this a very girly boudoir!
